Privacy Policy

Jagruk Mahila NCR - Legal Awareness Platform

Effective Date: This Privacy Policy is effective as of 22 March 2026 and governs the collection, use, and handling of information by Jagruk Mahila NCR.

Information We Collect

Jagruk Mahila NCR provides legal awareness content, helpline information, and an AI chat assistant. No account registration is required to use the application. The following categories of data are processed:

  1. Language Preference: Stored locally on the user's device but not transmitted to any server.
  2. AI Chat Queries: When the AI assistant is used, the text of the user's query is transmitted to Google Gemini AI to generate a response. This data is not retained by Jagruk Mahila NCR beyond the duration of the request.
  3. Report Submissions: When a user submits a report on an AI-generated response, the following data is collected: (a) the AI response text being reported; (b) the associated user query; (c) the selected report reason; and (d) the user's email address, if voluntarily provided.

Purpose of Data Processing

Data collected by Jagruk Mahila NCR is processed exclusively for the following purposes:

  1. AI queries are transmitted to Google Gemini solely to generate contextually relevant responses within the chat interface.
  2. Report submissions are reviewed to identify AI responses that are unsafe, inaccurate, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate, and to improve service quality.
  3. Email addresses provided with reports are used solely to follow up on the specific report submitted. No marketing or promotional communications are sent.

Third-Party Services

Google Gemini (a service of Google LLC) is used as a third-party AI provider. User queries submitted through the chat interface are processed by Google Gemini in accordance with Google's privacy policy, available at: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Jagruk Mahila NCR does not integrate third-party advertising networks, analytics platforms, or behavioral tracking services. Outbound phone calls and emails initiated via helpline links are handled exclusively by the user's device dialer or mail application.


Data Retention and Deletion

AI chat query data is not maintained by Jagruk Mahila NCR beyond the duration of the active request. Report submissions are retained in access-restricted systems for the period necessary to investigate the reported issue. If an email was voluntarily submitted, such records are deleted within 30 days of review completion.

Early deletion of report data or associated email addresses may be requested by contacting support@jagrukmahila.in from the email account used at the time of submission.


User Rights

Users who provide email addresses in connection with a report retain the following rights with respect to that data:

  1. Right of Access � To request confirmation of what report-related data is held.
  2. Right of Rectification � To request correction of an incorrectly provided address on record.
  3. Right of Erasure � To request deletion of report data and associated contact information.
  4. Right to Withdraw Consent � To withdraw consent for further use of a submitted email address at any time.

Requests must be submitted to support@jagrukmahila.in. Requests relating to a specific report must be submitted from the email address used at the time of that report for identity verification purposes.


Policy Updates

This Privacy Policy may be revised periodically. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on the in-app Privacy Policy screen. Continued use of the application following the publication of a revised policy constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
